Sizing

The pattern includes sizes 6 - 24. Please note, these are New Zealand sizes, however the instructions include a sizing chart that you can use to figure out which size is best for you if you’re not familiar with New Zealand sizing. The sizing chart is also shown in the second to last picture of the listing.

Fabric requirements

The Suzy Dress works well with light to medium weight woven fabrics with a good drape. Try a light to medium weight cotton, linen or rayon. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a more structured shape, use a heavy-weight cotton. The bottom ruffle pattern piece is quite large so it needs to be cut crosswise, whereas the other pattern pieces are cut on the grain. This means you need to avoid fabrics printed with patterns that are not asymmetrical as the bottom ruffle will not match the rest of the dress.

This is a print-it-yourself pattern. You will be emailed a PDF file with the instructions and pattern so you can print them at home or at your local print shop.

The instructions include dimensions for the rectangular pattern pieces so you don't have to print out all of the pages.
